Easton is moving all over the place now. He is a super fast scooter and is very determined to get where he wants to go. Changing his clothes and diaper have gotten ridiculous. I have to bribe him with all kinds of shiny objects, I otherwise would not let him have, just to get him to hold still for 5 seconds while I get his diaper off and a new one on. (cute and silly but also kind of stinkerish and buggy).

Easton still loves Baby Einstein, but he no longer will sit through the whole thing. He gets distracted with all of the potential for destruction around him. Whenever music plays he kind of bounces to the beat. So adorable. He has also learned to shake his head no. He still doesn't have the exact right context of when to use it, but its adorable.

Easton has 6 teeth now. Two bottom and four top. The top four took forever to cut though the gums and they made him miserable. He also got a nasty earache about 3 weeks ago. I was devastated to see my baby so sad and in pain.

Easton loves to eat solids!! He will open his mouth to anything I offer. He especially loves cheese and oranges. He gets ticked when I take the rind away from him. He also babbles as he eats. The second food hits his mouth he starts to make noise. (very "What About Bob")

We went to the park for the first time last week and he loved the swings and the slide. Easton loves being outside and going for walks. I am so excited that the weather is getting warmer. We will be spending a lot more time outside now!

Oh this baby boy brings so much joy into my life! I cannot express what it means to me to have the opportunity to raise this precious angel. Being a mother is the most amazing, tiring, confusing, exciting, and joyous calling I have ever been given. The poor kid basically gets smothered in kisses all day everyday. Love my baby boy.

Time is flying! I look at my baby boy and wonder how he got so big so fast. Easton is becoming very independent. He wants to feed himself and turn the pages of his book and hold whatever somebody else has. He no longer wants to sit still on my lap. He practically flings himself towards whatever he wants.

He is quite the scooter and roller. His scooting is hilarious. It is more like a swim stroke than actual scooting but it gets him where he wants to go.

He finally got his top two teeth after weeks of being a little miserable and a lot drooly! He has a fierce bite. I have to watch my fingers. He did the dreaded bite while nursing the other day. It was a product of him being tired and not really aware but man it hurt and made me jump!

We found out last night E has a nasty earache. He was screaming or crying a good portion of the day and by 7 p.m. he had a pretty high fever so we took him to the Dr. Poor little man was the most miserable I have ever seen him. It broke my heart. He is doing much better today though and is on an antibiotic to get rid of the infection. So glad my happy little guy is feeling more like himself.

Easton is the joy of our lives. His spirit is so sweet, fun, and goofy. He makes us laugh and smile all of the time. We are so blessed by this little man.

Easton is sitting up now and rolling all over the place. He will sit and play with toys on his own. (such a big boy ) Its fun to see his little mind working as he explores all the things that are now within his reach because he can move around. We've had to be a lot more careful about leaving the room when E is on the ground. He's fast and he rolls into the weirdest places. I have found him under chairs and high centered on toys.

He is so noisy lately. He babbles and yells all of the time. He has this nasty little scream that he started a few weeks ago. Both Casey and I despise it and we are trying to teach him its not ok to scream. UGH!!!

He is a little piggy! He eats solids so well now. Just the other day he finished two full containers of baby food in one sitting. At first I was worried the poor little guy was starving, but then I realized who is father is and what that guy can eat. I guess Case passed on his impressive appetite to our son.

Casey gave him his first haircut a few weeks ago. He didn't take off too much and E's hair really does look better, but it was hard for me to watch my baby get his first haircut.

Love our silly monkey so much!!! I kind of want time to stand still though because my baby is growing up way too fast. He recognizes both Case and I really well now and will kick with joy when either of us walk into a room. ( melts me) What a joy Easton is in our lives.

Little E is six months old today. My heart is breaking because my baby is getting so big. The time is flying by way too fast. Every day we love him more and feel so blessed to have this silly baby boy in our lives.

Easton has his two bottom teeth now. He is constantly gnawing on anything and everything including fingers so watch out! His drooling has reached a new level of impressiveness. If I don't put a bib on him I have to change his clothes after about 1o minutes because he is dripping wet.

He now reaches for things with both arms stretched out. ( so adorable) He is becoming more and more snugly. He loves silly voices and has this funny little half laugh he does that melts me. Each morning after he wakes up we go visit Grandma Chrispy and Easton dances for us in the mirror. He moves his little legs so fast like he's doing an irish jig. We love it!!

Easton is a happy boy and generally doesn't fuss. He is becoming more vocal and will just yell happily all of the time. He is mesmerized by Baby Einstein and would watch for hours if we would let him.
